ready to add an affiliate program to the graffishop

I’mvery close to adding an affiliate system to the graffishop. It’s been doing very well the past few months, and many of you have been very helpful in getting the new launch off the ground, so it’s payback time!

I have it set up now, but I haven’t linked to it yet. That will come probably in the next week or so. I want to make sure it really works, and works without glitches, before opening it up to the world and more importantly, my online friends.

Here’s how it will work:

  • *You sign up to be an affiliate - I’ll add the links to the sign up page later
  • Then you just place the specific link to the graffishop on your page herever you want it. There will be banner ads, text ads (they look like the Google ads you see on so many pages) and plain links that you can copy and paste wherever you want them on your page. You can also place the text ads in forums, chatrooms, blogs, etc.
  • *Each affiliate gets a unique link to the shop - so anyone who follows that particular link to the shop gives credit to the affiliate who placed it. If you’re affiliate number 26, for example, and make a mention of the Action Packs in a forum somewhere and provide the link, everyone who goes to the shop gets there from your distinctive link, which is recorded.
  • *If that person buys something - anything - as a result of following your link, you’ll get 20% of the sales just for sending them there. Pretty simple - post a link to something folks want anyway, and get 20% on all sales (whether they actually buy an Action Pack or two, or an autorun program, or the new RDP eBook) just for telling thm about it.
  • I’ll be using PayPal for payouts, so all affiliates will need a PayPal account. I know that a lot of people don’t like PayPal, for whatever reason, but I have used them for all transactions for over 8 years with no issues whatsoever. It’s the easiest way for me - that way I won’t have to write checks, get stamps, mail checks, . . . and affiliates can remain anonymous if they want.

    • Right now, I’m thinking there should be a $10 minimum balance before I make the payout (otherwise, I’ll be sending payments of .95 cents here, $2.57 there, etc.) and payouts will be the first of either every month or every calendar quarter (first of April, July, October & January) - but I haven’t quite made up my mind yet. Maybe Mrs. Graffi, who has a better head for financial things, will help solve that one.

    I think this is the best way to say “Thanks” to all the folks who have helped get this place on the map. I’ve offered coupons, freebies and gift cards, but so many of you already have all the action packs that this is a way to pay you back without giving more stuff that you don’t need - it’s cash!
