heh - I made a WordPress Plugin!

So
there’s this plugin already existing in Word Press that puts the lyrics to “Hello, Dolly” on the upper right side of the Admin screen - where you write your masterpiece - but it really didn’t do anything for me.
I decided to change it to Elvis Costello’s classic Red Shoes - you know, the one that starts “Oh, I used to be disgusted/ But now I try to be amused…” which really sums it all up in a nice little couplet, doesn’t it?
you can get ahold of my first WP plugin by clicking the cool link: red Shoes plugin, and copy/paste it into a text editor. Save this file in your wp-content/plugins folder as “redshoes.php“. [Alternately, you could just right-click the link and choose "Save Target As..", enter "redshoes.php" (without the quotes) in the name field and save in the same folder.]
I’ll try to add this little bit of randomness to the regular site, too. Just a little morsel of fun from me to you - cheers!

changing my blog CMS…

I’m
going to try out using WordPress for the blog system here at the new graffi joint.
From everything I’ve read, it looks like an easy-to-use yet powerful system.
Who knows - I may even transcribe it over to the main site for articles & stories and tutorials. We’ll see.
I really want to see how it handles using images, css, styles and div tags. you may have noticed that I’m particularly fond of those simple things…

i think I like this one best. They’ll all wind up on different user-selectable templates, so you can pick the color scheme and images you like best.

busy noodling about the Workshop…

Some New Title Logos
…working on some brand new logo images for the top corner of the workshop homepage as well as other places around the web…
…I haven’t been posting too much work lately. Mainly because most of the work on the ole’ workshop has been “behind the scenes”- I’ve been creating new templates, new graphics, new sections and repairing & replacing code, and that’s, well, pretty boring to most people.
New Graffi Forum Sig
I made this new forum sig, which is based on another image I made earlier - the large “graficalicus” logo (you can grab the Quick Style for this RDP creation in the workshop downloadbasket area - click the menu links). Also made a “Speedway”-influenced logo image, below. A few others, including the carved-in-marble graphic that’s been around for awhile and (of course) another retro-looking “Bowling” logo image, also below:
So that’s what I’ve been doing - what have you been up to?
