Over the last decade movie posters have become very artistic, just like video games. Movie posters are a very carefully designed marketing tool because they are the first image that viewers have of a movie so it must catch their eye and draw attention.
In this tutorial we will learn how to create such a movie poster – one that is very attention grabbing which instantly conveys the general premise of the film. The author has created a poster for a fictional action movie about US Marines on the Iraqi traffic control points. The tutorial was made in CS4 but you can make it in CS3 without problems.
