Graffi’s Action Effect Sampler Pack updated for Photoshop Elements 10

SamplerCaptureWith the release of Elements 10, Graffi’s Action Effects Packs (from the Graffishop) have been updated and will be released over the next few days.

The first release – created as a freebie for you to test your system and see if the effects install correctly – is the Sampler Pack, with 5 effects from a few of the full packs:

  • Old Romance (from the Glam Photo effects pack) creates a slightly desaturated framed image, recreating a soft boudoir photo effect
  • Weaver (from Fun Foto FX) creates a basket weave look from your original image
  • Soft Black and White (from Photo Lab) creates a dreamy black and white image from your photo and gives a slight blur, resulting in a very soft effect perfect for both portraits and landscapes.
  • Sketch (from Sketchy Paint) makes your image look like it was drawn with pencils and slightly smeared
  • 110% Enlarge (from Handy Actions) increases the size of your image in 10% increments, capitalizing a strange quirk of Photoshop that allows enlargements in small increments to minimize pixilization. This was the first action I ever created for Photoshop Elements nearly a decade ago, and is included here for nostalgic reasons – plus it’s still an incredibly Handy Action!

The effect packs are for Windows users only, and will install to XP, Vista & Win7 systems. They will install to Photoshop Elements versions 7 – 10.

Samples of the effects are below (the first image is the original image used)
